Our friends at Tootabi Hunting Safaris shared their story with us from their recent Cape Buffalo hunt in the Lion-Dense Kalahari region of South Africa. Couple the threat of lions with the fact that the Cape Buffalo is regarded as one of the most aggressive of all African game and it’s easy to see why this is considered a very dangerous hunt.

Their Razor 1-6×24 with its true, daylight bright illumination, allowed for easy acquisition of the Cape Buffalo during the small window of time, mid-day, when there are less Lions to fend off that will compete for a meal. Ultimately they came away successful, shooting this beast with their 375 CZ Model 550 at 90 yards!
